This season, renowned design duo Fredrikson Stallard, acclaimed fashion designer Christopher Kane, multidisciplinary creative Arik Levy and the ever-talented Zaldy raise an intriguing question: just how many ways can a Swarovski crystal be reimagined?

Fredrikson Stallard

A single crystal poised at the centre of a polished reflective disc forms the foundation of Fredrikson Stallard’s first jewellery collection for Atelier Swarovski.

Amplifying the precision of Swarovski crystal through the elegance of mirror-polished domes, the duo creates pieces that radiate femininity and contemporary charm.

Dancing between subtlety and boldness, the collection, aptly titled Space Flower, is mysterious, playful and timeless all at once.

Christopher Kane

True to his signature aesthetic, Christopher Kane’s iconic crystal mesh Bolster collection is all about drama and innovation.

Reworked in seasonal colourways, new styles such as the Twist Necklace and Slim Bolster Necklace inject fresh energy into the collection while retaining its distinctive appeal.

Colours to note this season include fern green, dark indigo and crystal bronze.

Zaldy

Having designed for Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. and dressed the likes of Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson, Zaldy’s portfolio is filled with impressive creative collaborations.

This season sees his Spring/Summer 2012 collection reinterpreted with renewed energy and a fresh perspective.

Drawing inspiration from stones and clay, Zaldy introduces new styles and colourways not previously seen in the collection, including luminous green and crystal blue. Dynamic geometric silhouettes further enhance the collection’s bold visual impact.

Arik Levy

Multidisciplinary talent Arik Levy wears many hats: designer, technician, photographer and filmmaker. Above all, however, he is an artist.

His latest collection, RockCraters, reflects this artistic spirit. Reworking elements from his Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, Levy echoes the polished metallic structures and rugged beauty of rocks found in nature.

We particularly love the pink necklaces and silver cuffs, which sit somewhere between wearable art and science fiction while retaining a playful sense of attitude. Charming.
